Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Galati (9-6) and Satu Mare (7-8), which took place in Satu Mare. Higher ranked Galati lost to tenth ranked Satu Mare in a road game 80-86. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Galati. The hosts were already 12 points ahead at halftime and as many as 18 after three quarters before a 33-21 last quarter charge of Galati cut the lead to 86-80 at the end of the game. Satu Mare made 28-of-33 charity shots (84.8 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Galati helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Satu Mare. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Timisoara and Brasov. Galati at the other side keeps the sixth position with six games lost. Satu Mare's next round opponent will be Brasov (#7) on the road.
