The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Perlas-MRU as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Perlas-MRU defeated 8th ranked Rasai in Vilnius 80-76. Rasai was ahead by 8 points after three quarters before a 25-13 charge of Perlas-MRU, which allowed them to win the game. Perlas-MRU had a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for forward Antanas Udras (203-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Dominykas Domarkas (188-92) contributed with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Perlas-MRU players scored in double figures. Perlas-MRU's coach Mindaugas Sakalauskas allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Perlas-MRU (17-4) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Rasai lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the tenth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Palanga. Rasai will play next round against Zalgiris II trying to get back on the winning streak. Perlas-MRU will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Trakai on the road.
