There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Magdeburg (6-7) was defeated at home by tenth ranked Sixers (6-7) 60-50 on Friday. Magdeburg was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian point guard Tristan Blackwood (183-85) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and Robert Zinn (196-95) who added 15 points and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Jonathan Ghebreigziabiher (174-91) with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Steven Monse (200-90) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Sixers have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place in Group North, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Magdeburg. Sixers will face league's leader Seawolves in Rostock in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
