We should mention about the upset which took place in Cluj, where 4th placed CS Energia Rovinari Targu Jiu (5-4) was outleveled in a road game by eleventh ranked U-Banca TR (4-6) 92-72. The game was mostly controlled by U-Banca TR. CS Energia Rovinari Targu Jiu was better in fourth quarter 26-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. U-Banca TR made 19-of-21 charity shots (90.5 percent) during the game. U-Banca TR outrebounded CS Energia Rovinari Targu Jiu 32-20 including 24 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international forward Mihai Silvasan (200-85, agency: Court Side) who led the winners and scored 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Curtis Millage (185-81, college: Arizona St.) accounted for 20 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Five U-Banca TR players scored in double figures. Montenegrin Nemanja Milosevic (204-87, college: W.Kentucky, agency: Interperformances) came up with 19 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Louis Darby (196-84, college: Long Beach St.) added 17 points respectively for CS Energia Rovinari Targu Jiu in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. U-Banca TR moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Targu Mures and Craiova. CS Energia Rovinari Targu Jiu at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. U-Banca TR's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Cluj to the arena Univ.Cluj.
