Everything went according to plan when second ranked Wuerzburg (9-3) outscored on the road 9th ranked Licher Basket (4-8) 79-49 on Sunday. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Donovan Morris (191-84, college: Long Beach St.) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 rebounds and center John Florveus (211-90, college: Georgia) who added 18 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Andrae Nelson (201-91, college: Morehouse) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Elijah Allen (195-89, college: NW Missouri St.) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Wuerzburg have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Wuerzburg maintains second position in Group South with 9-3 record having just two points less than leader Iserlohn. Loser Licher Basket keeps the ninth place with eight games lost. Wuerzburg will face Fraport Skyliners II (#7) in Frankfurt in the next round where they are favorite.
