Regular Season Round 13: Bakken - SISU 106-86

Leader Bakken delivered the eleventh victory on Friday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked SISU (6-7) 106-86 in Aarhus. The game was mostly controlled by Bakken. SISU managed to win second period 26-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by SISU's players. 25 personal fouls committed by SISU helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International power forward Nicolai Iversen (205-80, college: San Jose City JC) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international forward Morten Sahlertz (198-89) chipped in 28 points. Five Bakken players scored in double figures. American guard Darryl Partin (198-87, college: Boston U.) produced 31 points and 9 rebounds and the former international guard Mike Flowers (194-86, college: Barton, NC) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains first place with 11-1 record. SISU at the other side keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with Naestved. Bakken are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Aalborg (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SISU's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Copenhagen to the arena Wolfpack.
