Regular Season Round 13: Langen - Saarlouis 71-81

Date: December 20, 2014
There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked Saarlouis (3-10) won against on the road 10th ranked TV Langen (4-9) 81-71 on Saturday. American guard Ricky Easterling (188-83, college: Bridgewater) fired 24 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Guard Alexander Goolsby (191-87) chipped in 14 points. Five Saarlouis players scored in double figures. American power forward Martinis Woody (201-82, college: Benedict) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists and center Tom-Niclas Alte (205-95) added 21 points and 14 rebounds respectively for lost side. TV Langen's coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Newly promoted Saarlouis maintains twelfth place in Group South with 3-10 record. TV Langen lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
