Regular Season Round 13: Schwelm - Dragons 70-73

A very interesting game took place in Schwelm. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 5th ranked SG Schwelmer Baskets (7-6) to fifth ranked Dragons Rhoendorf (8-6) 73-70 on Saturday evening. American Theron Laudermill (202-89, college: CS San Bernar.) nailed a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and forward Alexander Angerer (201-96) accounted for 15 points and 6 rebounds. Laudermill is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Dragons Rhoendorf players scored in double figures. Canadian swingman Chris Johnson (196-88, college: St.Bonaventure) came up with 19 points and 8 rebounds and American swingman Jody Johnson (193-88, college: Cent.Washington) added 15 points and 11 rebounds respectively for SG Schwelmer Baskets in the defeat. Dragons Rhoendorf moved-up to fourth place in Group South. SG Schwelmer Baskets lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
