Important game to mention about took place in Kakanj. Sixth ranked Kakanj (5-4) saved a 3-point victory at home edging much higher ranked Leotar (7-3) 84-81 on Saturday evening. Leotar was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 26-12 third quarter run of Kakanj. Leotar was plagued by 33 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Ramo Rizvic (200-87) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) to lead the charge for the winners and Montenegrin center Novak Popovic (207-81) chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Five Kakanj players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Dejan Sakotic (194-93) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds and center Djordje Ninkovic (210-93) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Leotar's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kakanj moved-up to fourth place. Leotar at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Kakanj will play against Varda HE (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Leotar will play against Zrinjski HT (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
