Regular Season Round 15: Ehingen - Finke Baskets 68-64

There was an upset in Allmendingen where higher ranked Finke Baskets (6-9) were defeated by fifteenth ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (3-12) 68-64 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Finke Baskets won fourth quarter 24-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ehingen/Urspringschule looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Finke Baskets' players. Finke Baskets were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for center Mahir Agva (206-96, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds. American point guard Devon Moore (193-89, college: JMU) helped adding 7 points and 12 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Morgan Grim (204-88, college: Utah St.) with 16 points and 6 rebounds and Canadian point guard Ty Nurse (185-90, college: Texas Tech) scored 13 points. Ehingen/Urspringschule maintains fifteenth place with 3-12 record. Loser Finke Baskets dropped to the twelfth position with nine games lost. Ehingen/Urspringschule will face higher ranked Bayer Giants (#14) in Leverkusen in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
