Regular Season Round 13: Weissenhorn - Iserlohn 100-83

Top ranked Iserlohn (11-2) recorded its second loss on the court of fourth ranked Weissenhorn Youngstars on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Weissenhorn Youngstars 100-83. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Iserlohn. Weissenhorn Youngstars shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 61.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American point guard Randal Holt (185-91, college: Kent St.) fired 22 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Canadian guard Jordan Baker (201-91, college: Alberta) chipped in 17 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Weissenhorn Youngstars' coach Daniel Jansson used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Niklas Geske (188-94) produced 24 points and 5 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and American center Matt Kavanaugh (206-91, college: Dayton) added 16 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Weissenhorn Youngstars and four Iserlohn players scored in double figures. Weissenhorn Youngstars have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place in Group South. Newly promoted Iserlohn still keeps top position with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
