2MLS top team - Mladost ZE (12-1) added another victory to their record. This time they beat ninth ranked Sloboda (6-7) in Zemun 71-64. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Mladost ZE brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Sloboda was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Montenegrin Vladimir Bulatovic (-91) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and guard Aleksandar Radulovic (190-88, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 10 points and 6 assists. Mladost ZE's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side center Milos Koprivica (205-95) responded with 17 points and 5 rebounds and Miroslav Pasajlic scored 5 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. Mladost ZE maintains first place with 12-1 record. Sloboda lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with seven games lost. They share it with Plana. Mladost ZE will play against Proleter Naftagas (#7) in Zrenjanin in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Sloboda will play on the road against Zdravlje in Leskovac and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
