There was a small surprise in Frankfurt where eleventh ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners (7-8) defeated 9th ranked BG Goettingen (7-8) 74-70. The hosts were ahead by 5 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 19-13 run, which allowed them to win the game. 24 personal fouls committed by BG Goettingen helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
