No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Arkadia Lions (8-10) beat bottom-ranked UBSC Graz (2-16) in Traiskirchen 94-82 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Arkadia Lions. UBSC Graz managed to win fourth quarter 32-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Arkadia Lions looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by UBSC Graz's players. Argentinian-Italian forward Fabricio Vay (207-86, agency: Interperformances) notched 28 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and international forward Florian Trmal (199-89, agency: Dynamics Global Management) supported him with 21 points and 8 rebounds. Four Arkadia Lions players scored in double figures. Even 17 points by Slovenian forward Elvis Kadic (201-80) did not help to save the game for UBSC Graz. Guard Steffen Leitgeb (190-90) added 14 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Arkadia Lions moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Oberwart. UBSC Graz lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. They share it with Furstenfeld. Arkadia Lions will again meet bottom-ranked UBSC Graz (#10) on the road in the next round. UBSC Graz will have a break next round.
