Regular Season Round 10: Alges - Lusitania 85-78

Bottom-ranked Alges managed to get a second victory, breaking the four-game losing streak. This time they won against eighth-ranked Lusitania 85-78. Lusitania was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 22-13 charge of Alges, which allowed them to win the game. They made 21-of-27 charity shots (77.8 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Alges especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Five Lusitania players scored in double figures. Alges maintains twelfth position with 2-7 record. Lusitania lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with six games lost. Alges will play against higher ranked Galitos-Tley (#10) in Barreiro in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Lusitania will play at home against Sampaense and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
