Rather expected game when 16th ranked Walter Tigers (5-12) lost on the road to fourteenth ranked Phoenix Hagen (7-10) 90-81 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 47-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. American point guard David Bell (187-81, agency: Three Eye Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 5 assists. His fellow American import guard Todd Brown (196-87, college: Wright St.) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Four Phoenix Hagen players scored in double figures. American forward Augustine Rubit (201-89, college: S.Alabama) answered with 18 points and 7 rebounds and Russian center Anatoly Kashirov (215-87) added 16 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Walter Tigers.
