Very predictable result when ninth ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners (8-9) won against bottom-ranked Crailsheim Merlins (2-15) in Frankfurt 88-71 on Sunday. The game without a history. Deutsche Bank Skyliners led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Deutsche Bank Skyliners outrebounded Crailsheim Merlins 38-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. International center Johannes Voigtmann (210-92) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Danilo Barthel (207-91) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Power forward Jannik Freese (211-86, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with 10 points and point guard Joshiko Saibou (188-90) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Crailsheim Merlins.
