An interesting game took place in Craiova where 10th ranked Targu Mures (6-0) were upseton the court of thirteenth ranked Craiova (3-13) 67-62. Craiova dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Targu Mures' 22. The winners were led by Serbian Marija Radovic (186-91) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points and 18 rebounds and guard Adina Pop (173-88) supported her with 25 points and 5 rebounds (made all of her seven free throws). Even 24 points and 4 assists by American point guard Alexia Adams (163-86, college: Albany St.) did not help to save the game for Targu Mures. Craiova moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Cluj Napoca. Targu Mures at the other side keep the tenth position with 0 game lost. Craiova will play against league's leader Sf.Gheorghe in Sfantu Gheorghe in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Targu Mures will play at home against Galati (#6) and hope to get back on the winning track.
