The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Ezerunas-Karys as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Ezerunas-Karys defeated 13th ranked Vilniaus in Moletai 71-60. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Vilniaus. The game was mostly controlled by Ezerunas-Karys. Vilniaus managed to win fourth quarter 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Jermaine Love-Roberts (188-89, college: Ill.-Springfield) responded with 15 points and 9 rebounds and forward Ignas Dauksys (197-93) scored 18 points. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Perlas-MRU. Newly promoted Vilniaus keeps the thirteenth place with 20 games lost.
