Regular Season Round 13: Gradanski - Leotar 63-72

An interesting game for Leotar (10-3) which played road game in Bijeljina against 4th placed Gradanski (7-6). Second ranked Leotar managed to get a 9-point victory 72-63. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 25-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Leotar made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. 28 personal fouls committed by Gradanski helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Vladimir Aleksic (198-87) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws). Center Srdan Milanovic (201-95) contributed with 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Nebojsa Erkic (197-89) answered with 15 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Djordje Micic (199-93) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Gradanski. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Leotar have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 10-3 record behind leader Spars Sarajevo. Gradanski at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Leotar are looking forward to face Mladost (#6) in Mrkonjic Grad in the next round. Gradanski will play on the road against Varda HE and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
