There was no surprise when 7th ranked Fraport Skyliners II (6-8) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Weissenhorn Youngstars (10-5) 79-66 on Sunday. It was a great evening for American point guard Randal Holt (185-91, college: Kent St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 7 assists. Canadian guard Jordan Baker (201-91, college: Alberta) helped adding 13 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Johannes Richter (206-93, agency: LUMANI 10.7) with 10 points and 7 rebounds and forward Niklas Kiel (207-97, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 12 points. Fraport Skyliners II's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Weissenhorn Youngstars have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place in Group South. Loser Fraport Skyliners II keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Weissenhorn Youngstars will face SG Schwelmer Baskets (#5) on the road in the next round. Fraport Skyliners II will play against Speyer and hope to win that game.
