Very important is a road loss of third ranked DRUFF! (9-7) against ninth ranked Titans (8-8) on Sunday night. Visiting DRUFF! was edged by Titans in a tough game in Dresden 73-75. The best player for the winners was Czech center Jaroslav Tyrna (207-86, college: New Orleans) who scored 24 points. Naturalized Israeli guard Guy Aud (188-89) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Aud is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was center Maurice Pluskota (208-92) who recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Martin Bogdanov (183-92) added 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Titans have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place in Group North, which they share with Magdeburg and Oldenburg. Loser DRUFF! dropped to the second position with seven games lost. They share it with Rist Wedel and Bochum. Titans will meet league's leader Seawolves in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. DRUFF! will play against SC Rist Wedel and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
