Very predictable result in Vilnius where Perlas-MRU (21-6) beat Zanavykas (13-14) 98-84 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Perlas-MRU. Zanavykas managed to win third quarter 27-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Perlas-MRU outrebounded Zanavykas 41-29 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Perlas-MRU made 7 blocks. Forward Antanas Udras (203-92) fired a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Center Edvinas Jezukevicius (207-90) chipped in 20 points and 9 rebounds. Perlas-MRU are looking forward to face Ezerunas-Karys in Moletai in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Zanavykas will play at home against Suduva-Mantinga (#4) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
