Regular Season Round 14: Leotar - Mladost 89-66

Second ranked Leotar (11-3) crushed at home 6th ranked Mladost (6-8) by 23 points 89-66, which is the biggest margin this round. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Mladost. The game was mostly controlled by Leotar. Mladost was better in fourth quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Serbian center Dusan Cvetkovic (205-89, agency: Beo Basket) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points and 9 rebounds. Serbian guard Miljan Radisavljevic (190-88) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Four Leotar players scored in double figures. Leotar's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Montenegrin forward Nemanja Knezevic (203-87) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian guard Nikola Vasojevic (196-86) added 7 points and 4 assists in the effort for Mladost. Leotar have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 11-3 record having just three points less than leader Spars Sarajevo. Mladost at the other side dropped to the seventh place with eight games lost. Leotar's next round opponent will be Siroki Primorka (#5) in Siroki Brijeg. Mladost will play at home against Varda HE and hope to win that game.
