Bottom-ranked Spartak Pleven is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 12th consecutive match to sixth ranked Beroe (6-7) 94-92. Spartak Pleven was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 14-12 charge of Beroe, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 27-25. Spartak Pleven was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Dewayne Jackson (203-90, college: Morgan St.) had a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Mike Black (183-90, college: Albany) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists during the contest. Five Beroe and four Spartak Pleven players scored in double figures. Beroe maintains sixth position with 6-7 record. Spartak Pleven at the other side still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Beroe will play against league's leader Lukoil Acad. in Sofia in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Spartak Pleven will play on the road against Levski Sofia (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
