There was no surprise in Zaporozhye where 9th ranked Hoverla (6-14) was defeated by seventh ranked Ferro-ZNTU (9-10) 89-78 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Ferro-ZNTU. Hoverla managed to win fourth quarter 25-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ferro-ZNTU looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Maks Adam Konate (200-91) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 6 rebounds and forward Dmitro Antonets (198-88) who added 21 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Ricardo Glenn (203-90, college: USC Upstate, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) with 23 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import point guard Mackey McKnight (183, college: Lehigh, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Hoverla players scored in double figures. Ferro-ZNTU moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Mykolaiv. Loser Hoverla keeps the ninth position with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
