Rather predictable result when eighth ranked Esgueira / Oli (4-7) defeated at home bottom-ranked Guifoes (2-8) 67-62. Guifoes were ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 25-18 charge of Esgueira / Oli, which allowed them to win the game. The winners were led by forward Antonio Gaioso (188-87) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Hugo Assuncao (180-87) supported him with 12 points.
