The game in Viernheim supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Ladybaskets Wuerzburg (10-3) played at the court of 8th ranked TSV Amicitia (4-9). Ladybaskets Wuerzburg smashed TSV Amicitia 102-30 on Sunday. The game without a history. Ladybaskets Wuerzburg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding TSV Amicitia to just 5 points in first quarter and to 12 points in first half. Ladybaskets Wuerzburg held TSV Amicitia to an opponent 21.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 42.4 percent accuracy of the winners and made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Ladybaskets Wuerzburg forced 46 TSV Amicitia turnovers. It was a very good performance for Canadian guard Debbie Yeboah (168) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 6 steals. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Ladybaskets Wuerzburg. They maintain third place in South with 10-3 record behind leader Osnabruck. TSV Amicitia at the other side keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. Ladybaskets Wuerzburg will face Speyer / Schifferstadt (#5) in Dudenhofen in the next round. TSV Amicitia will play on the road against Rhein MB II in Langen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
