Very expected game in Barreiro where 12th ranked CD Torres N. (2-12) was rolled over by fifth ranked GDESSA (8-5) 90-67. The game was mostly controlled by GDESSA. CD Torres N. was better in fourth quarter 23-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded CD Torres N. 34-22 including 23 on the defensive glass. GDESSA will play against league's leader CAB Madeira in Funchal in the next round and it may be the game of the week. CD Torres N. will play against Benfica (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
