Regular Season Round 18: SISU - Horsholm 67-75

An interesting game took place in Copenhagen where 6th ranked SISU (8-10) was upset on its own court by ninth ranked Horsholm (5-13) 75-67 on Thursday. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 23-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American-Dominican center Alejandro Rodriguez (206-88, college: Iona, agency: Duran International) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds. American guard Derek Semenas (190, college: Cardinal Stritch) chipped in 15 points. Five Horsholm players scored in double figures. Horsholm's coach Miguel Angel Hoyo used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Darryl Partin (198-87, college: Boston U.) who recorded 22 points and the former international point guard Mikael Nielsen (178-90) added 12 points and 5 assists respectively. Horsholm have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place. Loser SISU keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with Randers. Horsholm will meet at home higher ranked Wolfpack (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. SISU will play against Svendborg and hope to secure a win.
