Very expected game in Klaipeda where 9th ranked Tonybet (6-17) was defeated by second ranked Neptunas (20-3) 92-76. The game was mostly controlled by Neptunas. Tonybet was better in third quarter 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American center Keith Benson (211-88, college: Oakland) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The former international forward Valdas Vasylius (203-83, college: ODU) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Giedrius Staniulis (205-91) replied with 24 points and 6 rebounds and forward Arnas Labuckas (205-87) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Tonybet. Five Neptunas and four Tonybet players scored in double figures. Neptunas maintains second position with 20-3 record having just two points less than leader Zalgiris. Tonybet lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 17 games lost. Neptunas' next round opponent will be Lietkabelis (#8) in Panevezys where they are favorite.
