A very close game took place in Silute between Vilniaus and Silute. Sixth ranked Vilniaus (7-20) got a very close victory on the road over 5th ranked Silute (10-19). Vilniaus managed to escape with a 1-point win 76-75 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Silute. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 20-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Jermaine Love-Roberts (188-89, college: Ill.-Springfield) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Ignas Dauksys (197-93) who added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side guard Evaldas Saulys (195-93) responded with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Edvinas Alunderis (202-92) scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. Newly promoted Vilniaus maintains sixth position with 7-20 record. Loser Silute keeps the fifth place with 19 games lost. Vilniaus will meet at home JAZZ-Diremta (#7) in the next round. Silute will play against the league's second-placed Delikatesas and hope to secure a win.
