Very expected game when 18th ranked Crailsheim Merlins (2-17) were edged at home by tenth ranked Braunschweig (9-10) 82-80 on Saturday. Crailsheim Merlins were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. They outrebounded Crailsheim Merlins 40-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. The game was dominated by American players.
