Regular Season Round 12: Hrastnik - Parklji 80-76

Bottom-ranked Hrastnik managed to get a second victory, breaking the nine-game losing streak. This time they won against fifth-ranked Parklji 80-76. Parklji was ahead by 5 points after three quarters before a 25-16 charge of Hrastnik, which allowed them to win the game. They made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. It was a good game for forward Tadej Tusek (194-80) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Blaz Lobe (203-84) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Guard Tomaz Podboj (204-86) replied with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Matija Radanovic (-95) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Parklji. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Hrastnik (2-10) moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Ajdovscina. Parklji at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Geoplin Slovan and Crnomelj. Hrastnik will play against higher ranked Litija (#10) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Parklji will play against Luxuris Celje (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
