Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Hagen Phoenix (3-11) was rolled over on the road by ninth ranked Hannover (6-8) 86-66 on Sunday. The game without a history. Hannover led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Hannover forced 19 Hagen Phoenix turnovers and outrebounded them 47-24 including a 17-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Hannover looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Hagen Phoenix's players. American guard Rayven Johnson (176-91, college: NJIT) had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Stefanie Grigoleit (186-89) chipped in 21 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five Hannover players scored in double figures. Forward Leonie Schuetter (177-98) responded with 24 points and swingman Kathrin Schlatt (174-91) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Hannover moved-up to eighth place in North, which they share with Barmer TV and Gruenberg. Hagen Phoenix lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Hannover will face higher ranked Braunschweig (#6) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Hagen Phoenix will play against Barmer TV (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
