The game in Silute was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Delikatesas (15-15) played at the court of 5th ranked Silute (10-20). Delikatesas managed to secure a 7-point victory 78-71. It looked good early as Silute took an 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Delikatesas took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 7 points. 26 personal fouls committed by Silute helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was guard Sarunas Kulevicius (191-89) who scored 28 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Zilvinas Petraitis (194-88) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Edvinas Alunderis (202-92) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Bryce Cartwright (189-90, college: Iowa) added 16 points respectively for the hosts. Delikatesas' next round opponent will be Vilniaus (#6) in Vilnius which should be theoretically an easy game.
