Second Stage Round 3: Interkhim - Frankivsk 86-75

Frankivsk (1-1) recorded a loss in Odessa. Visitors were defeated by Interkhim (2-0) 86-75. Frankivsk was ahead by 11 points after three quarters before a 20-9 charge of Interkhim, which allowed them to win the game. They made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Interkhim outrebounded Frankivsk 46-31 including a 36-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Frankivsk was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for guard Natalia Kolotovska (174-90) who led her team to a victory scoring 14 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Forward Olga Borisenko (185-90) helped adding 16 points and 14 rebounds. Four Interkhim players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was international swingman Krystyna Matsko (182-91) with 27 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals and Nataliya Skorbatyuk (183-95) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Interkhim will play against Dynamo-NPU in Kyiv in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Frankivsk will play at home against Chaika and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
