Regular Season Round 13: Crnomelj - Lastovka 76-75

The most exciting game of round 13 in the 2SKL took place in Crnomelj. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Lastovka (10-3) to fourth ranked Crnomelj (8-5) 76-75 on Saturday evening. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 20-11 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Crnomelj made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Lastovka helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Anze Cerkovnik (200-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!). Point guard Nejc Zupan (203-96) contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Crnomelj players scored in double figures. Guard Dragan Pusic (193-84) answered with 23 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Marcel Mihalic (185-90) added 17 points in the effort for Lastovka. Lastovka's coach Muharem Vugdalic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Crnomelj maintains fourth place with 8-5 record, which they share with Parklji. Lastovka at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. Crnomelj is looking forward to face Geoplin Slovan (#6) in Ljubljana in the next round. Lastovka will play at home against Elektro Gorenjska and is hoping to win this game.
