It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Cherno More. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-62. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Vernon Taylor (192-87, college: Troy) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Zlatin Georgiev (196-85) who added 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Rilski's coach Rosen Barchovski used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side the former international point guard Asen Velikov (187-86) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Lenny Daniel (203-87, college: CS Northridge) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rilski have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Loser Cherno More dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. Rilski will meet Chernomorets (#8) in the next round. Cherno More will play against Spartak Pleven and hope to secure a win.
