An interesting game for Horsens IC (17-3) which hosted in Horsens 3rd ranked Wolfpack (13-6). Second ranked Horsens IC managed to get a 10-point victory 88-78. The game was mostly controlled by Horsens IC. Wolfpack was better in second period 29-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian swingman Vedran Borovcanin (199-85) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Skyler Bowlin (190-89, college: Missouri So.) who added 18 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals during the contest. The former international forward Casper Hesseldal (198-85, college: Dickinson St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and American point guard Ryan White (180-88, college: Texas St.) scored 12 points and 5 assists. Five Horsens IC and four Wolfpack players scored in double figures. Horsens IC have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Newly promoted Wolfpack keeps the third place with six games lost. Horsens IC will play against league's second-placed Bakken in Aarhus in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Wolfpack will play at home against Naestved and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
