An interesting game for Aabyhoj (1-0) which hosted in Aabyhoj Falcon (0-1). Aabyhoj managed to get a 6-point victory 66-60. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 21-2 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Aabyhoj dominated on the defensive end, holding Falcon to just 2 points in third quarter. American point guard Nicole Ballestero (173-92, college: Vanguard) nailed a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and swingman Julie Hoier (185-95) accounted for 12 points and 9 rebounds. Aabyhoj's coach Thomas Johansen used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Aabyhoj will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Falcon will play against SISU in Copenhagen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
