Regular Season Round 20: Randers - Horsholm 91-84

Date: February 5, 2015
No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Randers (9-11) beat at home 9th ranked Horsholm (5-15) 91-84 on Thursday. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 27-14 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Randers looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by American power forward Bonell Colas (205-82, college: Florida) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 24 points and 22 rebounds and the former international swingman Chris Nielsen (192-85) supported him with 28 points and 7 assists. Even 19 points by American guard Derek Semenas (190, college: Cardinal Stritch) did not help to save the game for Horsholm. Forward Daniel Mortensen (203-94) added 16 points and 4 assists for the guests. Four Horsholm players scored in double figures. Horsholm's coach Miguel Angel Hoyo rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Randers moved-up to sixth place. Loser Horsholm keeps the ninth position with 15 games lost. Randers will meet bottom-ranked Aalborg (#10) on the road in the next round. Horsholm will play against Svendborg and hope to secure a win.
