There was an upset in Oldenburg where higher ranked EWE Baskets (11-9) were outplayed by tenth ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (10-11) 98-76 on Saturday. The game without a history. EnBW Ludwigsburg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. EWE Baskets were plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. Americans were the main players on the court. Swingman D.J. The best for the losing side was guard Chris Kramer (191-88, college: Purdue) with 19 points and 5 assists and power forward Adam Chubb (208-81, college: Pennsylvania) scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. EnBW Ludwigsburg moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams. EWE Baskets lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with nine games lost. EnBW Ludwigsburg will face higher ranked Bayern Muenchen (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
