And finally the game worth to mention about is the one where seventh ranked White Wings (10-8) won against 4th placed SG Schwelmer Baskets (9-9) in a home game by 15 points 95-80 on Saturday evening. American guard Cardell McFarland (182-87, college: Ky Wesleyan) fired 24 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Center Joleik Schaffrath (206-88) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. White Wings' coach Steven Clauss used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Canadian swingman Chris Johnson (196-88, college: St.Bonaventure) produced 16 points and 7 rebounds and center Julius Duecker (205-84) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. White Wings have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place in Group South, which they share with Dragons. Loser SG Schwelmer Baskets dropped to the sixth position with nine games lost. White Wings will face TV Langen (#9) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. SG Schwelmer Baskets will play against Licher Basket and hope to win that game.
