Center Carl Hipp (203-89, college: Hamline) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and guard Antoine Myers (190-90, college: Troy) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Recklinghausen in the defeat. Five SC Rist Wedel and four Recklinghausen players scored in double figures. SC Rist Wedel maintains second place in Group North with 12-8 record having just one point less than leader Iserlohn. Recklinghausen at the other side dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. SC Rist Wedel will have a break next round. Recklinghausen will play on the road against USC Leipzig (#11) and hope to win that game.
