Very expected game when 10th ranked Baskets Grunberg (6-10) lost to sixth ranked Lichterfelde (9-7) in Gruenberg 49-67 on Sunday. The game without a history. Lichterfelde led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Baskets Grunberg's 18 and made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for Lena Gohlisch (173-93) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Power forward Satou Sabally (189-98) contributed with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Swingman Natascha Heuser (178-82) replied with 12 points and center Laura Zdravevska (185-97) added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Baskets Grunberg. Lichterfelde maintains sixth position in North with 9-7 record. Loser Baskets Grunberg keeps the tenth place with ten games lost. Lichterfelde will face league's leader Veilchen in Goettingen in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
