Regular Season Round 21: Bremerhaven - Brose Bask. 63-75

Date: February 8, 2015
Very predictable result when second ranked Brose Baskets (18-3) defeated on the road 17th ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (5-16) 75-63 on Sunday. The game without a history. Brose Baskets led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Brose Baskets made 7 blocks. Americans were the main players on the court. Power forward Josh Duncan (203-86) stepped up and scored 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and point guard Dawan Robinson (188-82, college: Rhode Island) chipped in 11 points. Brose Baskets' coach Andrea Trinchieri used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was power forward Devin Searcy (208-89, college: Dayton) with 14 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Lorenzo Williams (187-84, college: Rice) scored 14 points and 7 assists. Brose Baskets have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain second place with 18-3 record behind leader ALBA. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with 16 games lost. Brose Baskets will face TBB Trier (#15) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will play against Braunschweig in Braunschweig and hope to win that game.
