There was no surprise in Noerdlingen where 12th ranked Fireballs (2-15) were defeated by fourth ranked TH Wohnbau Angels (11-6) 83-72. The game was mostly controlled by TH Wohnbau Angels. Fireballs was better in fourth quarter 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American Melissa Jeltema (175-88, college: Oakland) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Canadian power forward Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe (188-91, college: Simon Fraser) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four TH Wohnbau Angels players scored in double figures. American forward Candace Williams (184-88, college: New Hampshire) answered with 19 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Lena-Marie Bradaric (166-93) added 7 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Fireballs. TH Wohnbau Angels maintains fourth place with 11-6 record. Fireballs lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost.
