Fortuna did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 76-59. The game was mostly controlled by Fortuna. Jaunieji Talentai was better in third quarter 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Jaunieji Talentai 50-28 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for international Monika Grigalauskyte (190-92) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. International swingman Marina Solopova (180-90) accounted for 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. Four Fortuna players scored in double figures. Laura Juskaite (186-97) came up with 20 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Laurita Jurciute (173-96) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Jaunieji Talentai in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Fortuna maintains fourth place with 12-10 record. Jaunieji Talentai lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 18 games lost. Fortuna's next round opponent will be Kibirkstis-VICI (#5) in Vilnius. Jaunieji Talentai will play at home against Hoptrans-Sirenos Kaunas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
