Very expected game when 12th ranked Timba Timosoara (4-13) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Oradea (11-7) 84-68. The game was mostly controlled by Oradea. Timba Timosoara was better in fourth quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Australian-Trinidad and Tobago guard Daniel Dillon (193-86, college: Arizona) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points, 7 rebounds and 13 assists. Croatian forward Ante Krapic (204-85, agency: 011 Sports) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Oradea's coach Christian Achim allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Terrell Vinson (201-90, college: Massachusetts) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and Serbian power forward Danilo Mijatovic (207-83) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Timba Timosoara. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Oradea moved-up to third place, which they share with Pitesti. Timba Timosoara at the other side keeps the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Oradea's next round opponent will be CS Energia Rovinari Targu Jiu (#7) on the road. Timba Timosoara will play against CSU Sibiu (#8) and hope to win that game.
